include: RECEPTIONISTS Responsibilities
include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting
up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical
records, admitting and discharging patients, over the counter
sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions,
filing, and front office and reception area maintenance.
Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the
medical and legal information necessary for the performance of
their duties. KENNEL WARD
PERSONNEL Kennel Ward personnel
are responsible for animal handling, bathing and grooming,
cleaning, feeding, laundry, waste disposal, opening and closing of
the kennel area, maintaining security, inventoring and
stocking supplies, and boarding patient care, feeding
and monitoring. DAYCARE Should be experienced
in animal handling and training and behaviors. Must be
in physical condition which allows for extensive year
round walking and training exercise sessions. Basic kennel
cleaning and organizational functions are included in performing
daily duties. ASSISTANT
TECHNICIAN Assistant technicians are
responsible for hospital treatment area maintenance, assisting the
doctors and licensed technicians. Basic duties include,
Cleaning animal cages in treatment area, performing laboratory
procedures, radiology, extensive client communication, medical
treatment procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of
instruments and equipment, stocking supplies, treatments
to hospitalized and boarding patients, assisting in
the examination rooms and maintenance of the OSHA and
Hazardous Materials
programs.LICENSED VETERINARY
TECHNICIANFull and
Part-time positions available. VERY Busy
practice! Requires independent highly motivated
individuals to perform ALL State of Virginia allowable job
functions with state of the art equipment ! Must provide
a current Virginia State License ( without restrictions) to
