Dr. Jacob Hiller grew up in Rochester, Massachusetts on his family’s cranberry and Clydesdale farm. This early exposure to the agriculture world instilled in him a strong work ethic and solidified his passion for helping animals from a very young age. Knowing he would one day become a veterinarian, Dr. Hiller attended the University of Massachusetts - Amherst for his undergraduate degree in Pre-Veterinary Sciences and then went on to receive his DVM from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. For the four years immediately following vet school, Dr. Hiller practiced at a busy, eight doctor practice in Richmond, Virginia before moving up to Maryland and joining the team at Blue Ridge. Dr. Hiller’s interests are surgery, dentistry and sports medicine. When not at the hospital Dr. Hiller can be found hiking, mountain biking or doing anything to keep his mixed breed pup, Toby, busy.
