Dr. Mike Gast started at Blue Ridge October 2005. He was born and raised on a family farm in Valparaiso, Indiana.
Education:
- S. Dairy Science 1995 from Iowa State University
- Attended University of Kentucky studied Animal Nutrition
- DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003
- Internship in Ambulatory and Production Medicine in 2004 from Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine
- Perform small animal and large animal medicine and urgent care

- Reproductive disorders
- Dystocias
- Respiratory diseases
- Zoo medicine

- Own a small herd of registered Holstein and Brown Swiss dairy cattle and one beautiful horse named Aunt Bee.
