Blue Ridge Veterinary Associates is proud to offer daycare, boarding, and grooming services at our pet resort in Purcellville to help keep your pets comfortable and cared for, even when you are not around. We know that leaving your pet behind can be stressful but we will always ensure that your pet enjoys all the comforts of home while they stay with us.

Requirements for Daycare & Boarding

For both our daycare and boarding services, we require your pets to be up to date with their vaccines.

We also require that your pet is on a flea preventative if they’re staying overnight.

Canine guests should be up to date with the following vaccines:

  • Rabies

  • DHPPCV

  • Bordetella

  • Canine influenza Vaccination (CIV)

  • Leptospirosis

Feline guests should be up to date with the following vaccines:

  • Rabies

  • FVRCP

Daycare Services at Blue Ridge Veterinary Associates

Whether you need someone to look after your pet while you’re at work or have plans that don’t leave room for your pet during the day, Blue Ridge Veterinary Associates offers Doggie Daycare seven days a week.

Drop Off and Pickup Hours

You can drop off your pet starting at 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday, or at 8:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday.

Pets can be picked up until 9:00 PM, though we can make arrangements for later pick-ups, if needed.

We provide many enriching activities at Doggie Daycare. These include:

  • Practicing basic training

  • Socializing with other dogs and people

  • Swimming in our property’s creek

  • Hiking and walking

  • Meal times with staff members

Overnight Boarding

Give your pet the luxury experience with boarding services at Blue Ridge Veterinary Associates!

All of our overnight guests receive food and comfortable bedding and blankets. We also make sure that your pet receives their medications as needed for an additional $3 per day. While we offer Purina EN in-house, you’re welcome to bring in your pet’s special diet as well.

To upgrade your pet’s experience, you can add spa treatments to pamper your pet while you’re away. Ask for a full list of goodies we can provide to your pet when you reserve your pet’s stay!

Grooming Services

We have professional groomers on site for all of your pet’s grooming needs.

For cats and dogs, big and small, we have the grooming service that’s right for your pet.

Baths include:

  • Massages with our HydroSurge® system

  • Ear cleaning

  • Nail trims

  • Blow or towel dry

  • 15-minute brush out

We also offer a variety of add-ons and extras, like baths for skunk or flea problems, hot oil treatments or aromatherapy, and nail dremel or teeth brushing.
